Richmond VegFest 2026 will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 12pm – 6pm in Byrd Park. In your GPS, you can put in “Dogwood Dell” to find the festival area.

Free parking will be available in the Dogwood Dell parking lot. We will have ample signage and parking attendants showing you where to park. Additionally, you can park along many, but not all, streets in Byrd Park too.

Yes! Richmond VegFest is a free event. At the festival entrance we’ll be accepting voluntary donations and you can also donate online here ($5 suggested donation). Richmond VegFest vendors will be charging individually for food and non-food product sales.

The festival will continue as planned in the event of light to moderate rain. However, if there is severe weather, the event will be postponed to the rain date on Sunday, September 27th from 12pm – 6pm in Byrd Park.

Printed programs will be handed out at the festival.

Yes, well-behaved, leashed and vaccinated dogs are welcome to join. Please clean up after your compansions!

Yes, we have a free water station and encourage you to bring your reusable water bottle to fill.

Yes. Our Kids Patch area will have many activities including arts and crafts, face painting and more.

Yes. Everything served and sold at Richmond VegFest will be 100% vegan.

We have dozens of unique food vendors and each food vendor is responsible for developing their own menu for the festival. Everything sold and served at the festival is required to be 100% vegan. We often don’t get their menus in advance of the festival so we encourage you to explore the full list of food vendors to see which may best cater to your needs.

We will have an accessible parking area near the Dogwood Dell parking area in addition to one accessible porta potty and an accessible viewing area of the Main Stage.

Interested individuals can sign up for a volunteer slot as we get closer to the festival. Volunteers receive $5 in Veggie Bucks to spend at the festival and a free volunteer t-shirt. Volunteers that bring an old Richmond VegFest volunteer t-shirt will receive $10 in Veggie Bucks.
